Academic Requirements
Western Sydney University Indonesia maintains a competitive admissions process, evaluating students based on academic merit. Each program has specific entry criteria, so we encourage prospective students to review the academic requirements for their program.
- Successful completion of SMA 3 with a grade average of 75% or above, or
- An International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a minimum score of 24, or
- Successful completion of Cambridge International or Edexcel GCE A Level examination with an average grade of 6 across three core subjects.
Entry requirements differ by country. Some examples include:
- Australia: Year 12 with ATAR of 60 or Foundation completion
- Bangladesh: HSC with a GPA of 4.0
- China: Gao San with an 80% average over 3 years
- India: CBSE overall GPA 65%, ISCE overall GPA 60% in best 4 core subjects
- Malaysia: STPM grade of 4 from the best 3 subjects
- Pakistan: Higher School Certificate with a First Division pass (80% overall average)
- Successful completion of an undergraduate degree (or higher) in any discipline.
- IELTS: Overall score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0, or
- TOEFL iBT: Total score of 82, with minimum scores of 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, 13 in Reading, and 13 in Listening, or
- PTE: Overall score of 58, with no communication skills score less than 50.
